How to do Hip-up roll to side stand up breakfall : Exercise Video

    Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat on floor, arms out to your sides, palms down.

    Pressing feet into the floor and squeezing glutes, raise your hips.

    Drop hips back to the floor and roll to the side.

  4. 4

    Once you are on your stomach, press hands into the ground.

  5. 5

    Jump feet to hands to reach a standing position.

    From a standing position with feet shoulder-width apart, hands in guard position...

  7. 7

    Bend knees, drop to the ground, and roll onto your back. Repeat. Each breakfall counts as one repetition.
